Today was the first live concert I’ve attended in more than a year.

It sure felt good and sounded great. Being with people and listening to music is one of the things I missed most while we were in lockdown. Let’s hope things will get back to normal slowly, steadily, and safely.

They provide us with nothing but headaches and misery. Example: Ever had a phone conversation with an insurance company over coverage and costs?

Insurance companies are, in fact, leeches. They’re bleeding us dry.

The best way to approach ‘Let It Down’ is to imagine the Beatles walking into a small tavern and taking the stage, and then jamming for a couple of hours. Composed of 50 songs — roughly a third Beatles classics we know, another third covers of songs by other popular artists, and several songs never heard before which are of surprisingly good quality — this is one of the best bootleg albums to surface with recordings from one of their most productive periods.
