What makes us perceive similar things so differently?

For instance, two things can be almost identical.  They can be the same size and shape.  They can provide the same benefits, or pose the same dangers.  So why would one thing be cherished, while the other is feared?

Let’s take the DNA of two mammals (see below).  They’re about the same size and shape.  They’re closely related as species.  They both live in cities.  However, we perceive one as a sweet and fuzzy creature, while the other is vermin.

Today is “Black Friday,” or what I call, “the Great American Stampede.”

Think of millions of buffalo storming off a cliff.

Seriously, have you seen what goes on at malls and stores?  People line up at midnight.  Why?  To go shopping!

My Rant Against “The Crepe” at Tivolli Village (Las Vegas)

How difficult is it to make a crepe?

Well, it might as well be rocket science if you’re dining at the newest cafe-restaurant which just opened up at Tivoli Village, in Summerlin.  Wanna’ guess what the name of this new place is?  Try this:  The Crepe.

The most outrageous thing about our lunchtime visit today was — WE NEVER GOT ANY CREPES!
