Why Doesn’t Las Vegas Have Any Great Bakeries?

 

 

How is it possible that an isolated town with a population of 7,200 in the middle of nowhere has a gigantic world-class bakery (in Mammoth Lakes, CA)….and then just 42 miles away in another town with a population of 3,800 there’s ANOTHER astounding bakery selling fresh baked goods, deli items, and everything tastes amazing (in Bishop, CA)……

……and yet Las Vegas with an area population of 2,200,000 doesn’t have a single decent bakery?

Food for Artistic Thought

 

 

One thing I’l like to see much more of is the integration of art into daily life. Art should not just be something inside a museum. Art should be an expression of who were are and reflect what we experience. Wider audiences, of all backgrounds, should be exposed each day to artists and their art.

If you expect to hop and skip around the Las Vegas Strip using the main providers — Uber and Lyft — you’ve got quite an adjustment in thinking coming. It will be a rude surprise, if you’re unprepared.
