Republicans are the Do-Nothing Party of Clusterfucks

As I’ve written many times before, I’m no fan of Hunter Biden. He is undoubtedly guilty of crimes and deserves punishment. But today, congressional Democrats absolutely DESTROYED Republicans in a stunning moment of clarity that blatantly exposes their idiocy, incompetence, and hypocrisy.

Republicans had charged Hunter Biden with “contempt” for allegedly not showing up to testify and answer the questions of a congressional committee. So, what did Hunter Biden do this morning?

HE SHOWED UP TO ANSWER THEIR QUESTIONS.

Yeah, he showed up in their place. On their turf.  Ready. Willing to testify under oath.

Well, that lit up the GOP circus tent and Republicans turned into a clown show. Huh? What? Hunter’s HERE? What do we do, now? So, Republicans scrambled around like confused rats on a sinking ship clueless as to what to do. It was a disgrace. It was a mockery of the institution of Congress.

Since becoming the congressional majority after the 2022 mid-terms, Republicans falsely promised Americans they would address the nation’s problems. They haven’t done shit. They’ve done NOTHING other than to obsess over the old broken laptop of a non-government official and grandstand for right-wing media (oh, and do lots of fundraising). It took them weeks to elect a speaker, then after several months they canned his ass. They still don’t have a budget that funds our government. They voted against border security. Where’s their health care plan?

Crickets.

And today, they were exposed for what they truly are — a do-nothing party of clusterfucks.

This video is well worth watching.

  1. Some of the deepest roots of this clusterfuck lay with Grover Norquist’s “Starve the (government) beast” plan.

    a) Low or no taxes for the wealthiest, especially compared to the 1960’s-1970’s.
    b) Spend like crazy so the government goes deep in debt while starved of revenue relative to spending.

Government is forced to shrink under that scenario, eventually. GOP wins by default. As I said, turning government into a do-nothing shitshow is by malicious design at its deepest roots.
