Just moments after Rudy “Nosferatu” Giuliani was smacked with a whopping $148 million civil judgement, he did something REALLY stupid. Yesterday’s post about the film Schindler’s List triggered many interesting comments on Facebook. Discussion is still going. I also learned a few things. Any day we learn something new is a good day.
Speaking of learning, this caused me to think about movies that are important as tools in education. Let’s face it, reading about history doesn’t always convey reality, nor compel students to take an active interest in the subject matter. Movies –especially movies that are done well– do convey important lessons. They can be used as education tools.
