The New England Patriots have been accused of cheating in an AFC playoff game last season, and quite possibly multiple games played over a much longer period of time.
The infraction consists of team-supplied game balls being deflated from their normally-prescribed air pressure. This action which was intentional presumably gave the Patriots quarterback and its offensive players a much better grip on the ball, and an unfair advantage.

The NBA’s San Antonio Spurs have won five, count ’em F-I-V-E, world championships since Gregg Popovich took over control of the team nearly 20 years ago. That’s right up there with the Chicago Bulls and Los Angeles Lakers, two of the most celebrated, and far more revered, franchises in pro basketball.

Tonight’s absurdly overhyped championship fight doesn’t interest me in the last, except as an opportunity to make money, and I expect to make a few easy dollars sitting around and doing nothing, a skill I’ve pretty much mastered at this stage of my life.

I don’t pretend to have much if any, a special insight into the civil unrest happening right now in Baltimore, and frankly, I’m a little perturbed that so many like me with vastly limited subject knowledge, no exposure whatsoever to the problems, and preconceived dare I say prejudicial attitudes of urban blight in America now posture themselves on authorities on events they know little or nothing about. So quit pretending.
