NFL Week #14: Analysis and Picks

A Note to Readers: 

I checked my website traffic this past week.  And frankly, I’m baffled.  Number of visits: 

After hitting 65+ percent winners over the past month on 100+ picks, as of end of each successive Sunday — my traffic DECLINED!  After winning a mini-contest at the Westgate, last Sunday’s traffic PLUNGED!  Only 381 visits — after 3,700 clicks while going 15-4 on picks the week before?  What the fucking fuck? 

No, the website wasn’t down.  It’s not a tech issue.  I checked.

For whatever reason, this isn’t working.  Maybe my presentation of data isn’t appealing to readers.  But, I have far more time-efficient options than wasting my energies on this weekly exercise.  It seems that most sports bettors would rather watch 2-minute videos with eye candy “experts” or click on a bunch of writers nobody’s ever heard of who don’t gamble, nor post their records.  Go elsewhere to that empty echo chamber.  I have no use for it. 

Accordingly, I’m taking a break on NFL betting posts.  Maybe, I’ll come back later.  Maybe not.  I took a similar break from posting late in the 2020 season, and you can read a similar explanation of my feelings on this HERE.

Perhaps this seems petty to worry about website traffic, or clicks, which isn’t really a concern since I’m not selling anything.  But this is seriously annoying.  Hence, I’m not busting my ass with free content and then watch passively as my numbers tank, especially when 65 percent winners is about as hot as anyone will ever get betting on the NFL.
