Never in American history has any major candidate ever been LESS worthy of respect and admiration.
Just about everything Trump says and does on the presidential campaign trail is entirely about HIM. It’s all about GETTING EVEN with his perceived enemies. Trump rarely, if ever, talks about the country’s future, the American working class, or any of the serious issues facing our nation in 2024 and beyond. This hate-filled carnival sideshow is nothing more than a revenge campaign built on personal grievances and grotesque cruelty.
Evidence: This past weekend, in various campaign speeches in Iowa, Trump:
- – called the 1/6 insurrectionist mob of traitors who were convicted by impartial courts of law and sentenced to serve time….”hostages.”
- – ridiculed the late Sen. John McCain by making fun of his physical inability to lift his arms because of the torture he endured while a Vietnam War POW (while Trump pretended to have the worst case of bone spurs in medical history). His supporters laughed. Let me repeat that. His supporters LAUGHED.
- – ridiculed President Biden’s lifelong speech impediment (stutter). More laughter from the MAGA slime-o-phants.
- – said he could have “negotiated” a deal and avoided the American Civil War. Uh huh.
What a total shit bucket. This man is so grotesquely unfit for any public office, it’s mind boggling he’s still taken seriously. How any compassionate person can support this political perversion is mind boggling. How any veteran can support him is mind boggling. How anyone who knows American history and values democracy can support him is mind boggling.
Never in American history has any major candidate ever been LESS suited by any metric or measure — morally, ethically, intellectually, or as a leader worthy of respect and admiration. The staggering fact that Trump LEADING by a mile in the polls as the presumptive GOP nominee tells us everything we need to know about the rot of the Republican Party, the MAGA movement, and the deplorables who support this reprehensible man.
