NFL SUPER CONTEST UPDATE (WEEK 15)

One month to go (four weeks). 5 picks per week. 20 total picks still to make.

Main Event was 1,301 entries; contest pays the top-20 finishers; $200,000 for first. We currently have THREE entries ranked in the Top-50. All SEVEN of our tickets rank in the Top-200 (which means still within striking distance of cashing)….Our best ticket is tied for 7th place.

On the Second Half mini-contest, $75,000 for first, contest pays top-3 places, and we have FOUR tickets ranked in the top 80, with our best ticket tied for 9th place.

We won the Week 10-12 contest, good for $25,000.

Key reference points:

1. 60 points (one point for each win) won first place in the contest last season.

2. 55 points was enough to cash in the Top-20.

3. Similar pace this season, which means winning ~60 percent on the top THREE tickets gets us likely into the money, maybe multiple times.

4. A 15-5 or better record on either of the best two tickets, probably ties or wins the contest for us.

5. At a bare minimum, we need to go 11-9 on the best ticket, and 12-8 on the next, 13-7 on the next, etc. Even the low tickets if they somehow go 16-4, might sneak into the money.

The bottom THREE tickets will be used as a more high risk chance to hedge/minimize variance. So, we are using the LV RAIDERS -2.5 on three selections on tickets #5, #6, and #7 tonight. Note: Other selections will be kept in confidence until closing from this point forward because contest rivals may be monitoring the picks.
