The Most Boring Man in America

I’ve received several messages lately asking why I’m not writing about the Trump indictment. That’s a fair question, especially given that I’ve written and posted extensively over the past seven years on the overflowing toilet that is everything connected to Trump.

Trump was, is, always has been, and always will be–an overflowing toilet. Disgusting and horrible, and yet we couldn’t peel our eyes away, and we certainly couldn’t ignore the horror.

Until now.

Now, it’s easy to just say — no. No more. I’m perfectly willing to let the mess do what it must do and allow political science to take its course. Let him flood the floor, stink up the room, and ultimately drown the Republican Party in a heaping pile of shit. That’s already done. If they want to live with it, fine. Just don’t invite me over. I’m busy.

Yep — I’m sick of it. Sick of it all. Beyond that. I’m sick of him. I’m sick of his act. I’m sick of his schtick. He went from a joke…to a novelty…to a threat, then…a disaster. Now, I just find him to be a BORE. A giant fucking BORE. A frumpy, yapping, tiresome, repetitive, one-act barking, BORE.

We who have watched and listened to Trump have seen it all before. Over and over. Too many times. We know what he’s going to say today. We can write the script, even though there’s never any script. We can complete his sentences, even when there are no sentences–only fragments of gobbledyspeak, never taking responsibility for any misdeed even though there have been so many lies and indiscretions and scandals that it simply boggles the mind, always attacking others, intolerantly cruel, repeatedly throwing everyone else under the bus including once trusted confederates, meandering mutterances that fizzle from an average IQ devoid of any discernible imagination or joy.

Unfortunately, the fast-approaching 2024 election doesn’t make it possible to ignore noise. Like a crying baby inside a movie theatre, Trump is going to be the center of attention until the wailing orphan-brat cries itself to sleep, or finally is tossed out of the room.

And sadly, we will probably go through this at least three more times, given future indictments likely to come in GA, and two cases at the federal level. I say “sadly,” not because he doesn’t merit prosecution to the fullest extent of the law, but instead because that means Trump continues sucking oxygen out of the universe and gets to rob us all of what we are losing the longer he stays in the public eye, and that’s — time.

Ultimately, Trump’s worst crime is that he robbed us of our time.  My time.  Your time.  He continues stealing time and consumes energy that could have been spent so constructively on good and positive things, instead of overflowing toilets and a constantly crying baby.

  1. I wonder how many words have been uttered, or written, or typed in total about this man by the entirety of the world’s population of 8 billion people by now?

It must be an absolutely nauseating number of total aggregate words, something in the order of nonillions or decillions or more?? (1,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000+ not exaggerating this total pile of words from the very beginning)
