The Final Sunday and My Last Dance

 

Dear Family and Friends:

This is the final “free” Sunday before the start of the 2023 NFL regular season. Pro football action kicks off next weekend.

Accordingly, this will be your final opportunity to have me do any household chores, fix leaks, trim trees, do repairs, shave, answer the phone, think about most of you, and/or anything else that requires any physical or mental effort on my part and leaving leaving my precious bank of giant television screens and overheated laptops. With apologies to that genius of divadom, Donna Summer, this is our last dance, and your last chance….for love.

If you have something important for me to do, if there’s a question you have that demands my expertise, if there’s a cat that needs to be petted, or an overdue bill that needs to be paid, ship it NOW. Not next Sunday.

By then, it will be too late.

And on the 7th day, let there be….football!
