“Reality Television” is Torture
“REALITY TELEVISION” IS FUCKING TORTURE !!!
People who ride the city bus are more interesting.
I walked into my living room this afternoon. I don’t know how this happened. The cat. A ghost. Whatever. Inexplicably, the television was blaring loudly and I couldn’t locate the remote and shut this shit off.
Some “reality television” show was blasting away in my living room and I was like the old grandma blue-hair who had fallen and couldn’t get up. Help! Where’s the fucking remote? Turn this shit off!
Trouble was, I couldn’t change the channel and the volume was on 28. I felt like one of those Iraqi prisoners forced to listen to Britney Spears 16 hours a day. Poor terrorists, you almost felt sorry for them. Just kill me! Make it fucking stop!
As I was hunting for the remote and looking everywhere, I couldn’t help but be bombarded with the equivalent of fecal Hiroshima — a reality TV show cast with faux celebs no one has ever heard of –nor will never see again– bitching and complaining non-stop about manufactured shit intended to lure 85-IQ tween audiences into caring and cheering for one contestant versus the other. People who ride the city bus are more interesting.
Honestly, I have NEVER watched one of these garbage reality shows stoked with non-talented losers willing to prostitute themselves for scraps hoping to become stars. It’s a pathetic display of exploitation devoid of any originality or creativity.
Finally, after about 10 minutes of desperate searching, I mercifully found the elusive remote that had fallen between the sofa cushions. Now, that ten minutes of fury would have been GREAT reality TV —- me bitching about the trash blaring so loud I was screaming at the screen. SHUT THAT SHIT OFF!!!!!!!!
Indeed, it took several minutes of desperation until I finally found the remote and by then I was so flustered I had to post this and get it off my chest. Honestly, I don’t get it. Why do people tune in to watch this?
Seriously, WHO WATCHES THIS FUCKING SHIT?
Really, I want to know.
