Yes, this is real. It popped up onto my Facebook feed today. In G.O.P. Bible-thumpin’ bumpkin politics, this meme checks all the dunce boxes.

Still, I’m not sure what’s more offensive:

— the marginalization of the “Black Lives Matter” catchphrase

— the poster’s misspelling of “Amem”

— the misuse of the apostrophe….it’s “babies”

— using the American flag as a baby blanket

— the overt politicization of an infant

— the fact that, once it’s born, Trump and Republicans would fishgut every single one of the federal programs designed to protect the health, safety, welfare, education, and future of that child

— or, the canary yellow necktie.
