BRISKET TACOS ARE SERVED!
Tonight’s Mexican feast — soft corn tortillas filled with beef brisket, sauteed with onions and tomatoes. Served with rice, pico de gallo and charro beans. Salad and fresh guacamole. All for $14.95….along with an astounding margarita (okay, 2) with hand squeezed lime juice as the mixer.
Stupendous. Next to a tortilla factory in Oak Cliff. Family owned and run.

CLYDE BARROW (BONNIE AND CLYDE)
The most interesting, maybe bizarre, thing about visiting Clyde Barrow’s grave today, located here just west of Downtown Dallas is the fact that nearly a century after he was machine gunned to death, the notorious bank robber is still getting flowers. Real flowers.
And they say crime doesn’t pay.
Well, at least Clyde isn’t resting alone.

Here’s my latest article on NBA Playoffs betting, which could apply to any sports wagering situation. The host site is betcoin.ag.

One of the most reliable betting angles in pro sports happens during the first round of the NBA playoffs. Teams that are down 0-2 (games) and returning to their home court for Game 3 are automatic bets whenever you see the situation. This means identifying the teams that lost the first two games of a playoff series (both on the road), and then bet on them to win and/or cover the spread in the third game. Note the NBA plays a 2-2-1-1-1 format, which means Game 3 is always a change of venue.

THOUGHTS ON EVANGELICAL STREET PREACHERS
While driving home from the Las Vegas Strip yesterday, I stopped at the busy intersection of Flamingo and Decatur. A street preacher was hoisting a large sign with Bible verses written on it while he was screaming holy scripture into a bullhorn.
The traffic light took a while, so I pulled out my phone and recorded a minute of his “sermon” before the light turned green.
