No Trump, You Stupid Shit — Putin Was Not a “Genius” for Invading Ukraine

Why any sane person would still listen to anything he says or spews is completely utterly incomprehensibly mind-boggling.

If there was still any micro-dust of mini-doubt as to daffy Donald Trump’s grotesque naivete and dirt-dumb cluelessness on foreign affairs and pretty much everything else in the whole fucking universe that doesn’t include paying bribes and committing bank fraud (the dumb shit once asked his own staff if Finland was part of Russia) the last eight days of astounding developments inside Ukraine since Russia’s invasion now once and for all settles the issue that the disgraced, twice-impeached wormfrog was (and remains) astoundingly unfit for public service.

This crazy creep shouldn’t be allowed to work as a dog catcher let alone occupy the White House. Why any sane person would still listen to anything he says or spews is completely utterly incomprehensibly mind-boggling.

Recall Putin’s collared bitch-boy (Trump’s) comment just hours after the Russian invasion when he unmistakenly praised Putin as a “genius” and declared the invasion as “wonderful.” It’s all there. Read it. Listen.

Innocents are dying, babies are being burned alive, and millions of lives are being ruined. Meanwhile, the biggest mistake in American political history is volleying heaps of praise and platitudes like a waffle serve on the tennis court at Mar-a-Lago. What a goddamned disgrace.

Even though most of us know full well that Trump remains a compromised Putin asset, collared by embarrassing personal scandal (the pee tape was real, folks), and dirty as a soiled diaper from being in debt up to his neck to Russian oligarchs and banks on all of his failed investment schemes, for some reason there’s a quackcult out there that still listens to him. But now, even those who worship at the Trump alter must open their minds and face some ugly facts.

Even if you somehow for whatever crazy reason support Russia and believe in Putin’s decision to invade a sovereign neighbor, you now still have to admit this wasn’t “genius.” Anyone who thinks Russia risking everything and now suffering near-global condemnation is smart — is delusional. This was the biggest geopolitical miscalculation since the downfall of the USSR. This was jaw-dropping dumb. Putin was not a genius. And if you still think this and buy into the “Putin is a genius” Trump ruse for some absurd reason, let me be more clear about your future as a political analyst. You’re just fucking dumb. This isn’t a difference of opinion here. You’re just dumb.

In all honestly, I’m stunned at V. Putin’s gross naivete. We always knew he was ruthless, but we also thought he was smart, at least before this madness happened. Putin murdered adversaries. He was cunning. Like a clever fox. An adversary to democracies all over the world, to be sure. But smart in the sense of an effective instrument of national identity and self-preservation. One can even claim Russia is better off (was better off before this war) now that Putin is in power than before. Yeah. that could be a stretch. But there was no reason for Putin to upset the apple cart of global stability. Little relative to the enormous risk was to be gained by invading another country when Russia has plenty of land and resources already. This isn’t Germany and Japan in 1941. This is the world’s largest landmass. So, how can ANYONE think Putin is a “genius?”

Oh, we’re talking about Trump here, who once said he “fell in love” with murderous Kim Jong Un. Birds of a batshit feather.

Hell, even if you LOVE PUTIN, it’s become abundantly clear that the invasion of Ukraine was a catastrophic mistake and terrible miscalculation. Imagine, going from an elite superpower with a rising economy with more than 100 active trade partners to a monster-sized version of North Korea, which is precisely what’s happening right now as Russia inches gradually towards international hermit status.

Truth: Trump once again, over and over, shows grotesque ignorance. Putin is no “genius.”

Fact: There was nothing smart about this invasion, from any perspective, not even Russia’s.

Here’s Trump’s quote, word for word:

“I went in yesterday and there was a television screen, and I said, ‘This is genius.’ Putin declares a big portion of the Ukraine – of Ukraine. Putin declares it as independent. Oh, that’s wonderful.”

That’s what Trump said. Those were his own words. He even later doubled down on the comments, reiterating that he did not “misspeak.”

How the fuck this moron ever got ONE VOTE might be the greatest mystery in American political history, second only to why anyone would think he has anything valuable to say about the Russia-Ukraine War now.

Trump shouldn’t be listened to. He shouldn’t be listened to, ever again. instead, he should be laughed at. Better yet, he should be ignored.
