Let’s Talk About “Filth”

 

 

 

An Oklahoma REPUBLICAN and CHRISTIAN state senator just labeled gay people as “filth.”

Yeah. In public. At a political event. Then, he doubled down.

When asked at a public event this past weekend about the BEATING DEATH of a 16-year-old non-binary student, the ultra-conservative religious fanatic said, “I represent a constituency that doesn’t want that filth in Oklahoma.”

He rambled on about being a proud REPUBLICAN and CHRISTIAN, professing that he “represents” his constituency in an overwhelmingly REPUBLICAN and CHRISTIAN state (Oklahoma).

Repeat: The innocent victim was BEATEN TO DEATH by other students. BEATEN. TO. DEATH. In a public bathroom.

 

Still think hate doesn’t have consequences?

Now — watch how few REPUBLICANS and CHRISTIANS speak out or will pay attention to this story. Only silence. Deafening and deadly silence. But you’ll see these REPUBLICANS and CHRISTIANS post plenty of cruel memes ridiculing those, especially young people, who are struggling with their identities and trying to make sense of it all.
