If the United States sanctions on Iranian oil exports are removed and Iran starts pumping crude oil onto the strained global market, it will likely stabilize highly-volatile and fragile international oil prices. It certainly will help reduce prices worldwide (and is the last thing Saudi Arabia wants — keep that in mind*).
Fareed Zakaria just came out in support of lifting sanctions on his CNN program, this morning. There should be a growing movement to recalibrate our efforts toward *current* conflicts, rather than tethering ourselves to outdated, decades-old attitudes. READ MORE HERE
And while we’re at it, the same goes for Venezuela, which is also under U.S.-led sanctions.
