I’ve never been to ???

AN UNCONVENTIONAL CONVENTION — EDITION 217
Fill in the blank on the following question:
People won’t believe me when I say I’ve never been to __________ .
It’s impossible for me to narrow my answer down to one place, but if I had to say what’s the most surprising is this: I’ve never taken a cruise before. Here’s my five closest answers to filling in the blank:
– Boston — I’ve traveled all over the USA, been to almost every major city, but never visited Boston (except for an emergency landing at Logan once on this SwissAir flight back in 1995, but I never left the plane — this photo was taken the next morning in Zurich)
– Toronto-Montreal-Vancouver — I’ve only crossed the Canadian border twice, and both times were at Niagara Falls. Montreal is a city I really want to visit, probably the most of anyplace in North America.
– Hawaii — I’ve never been a Hawaii guy; I know everyone says it’s beautiful, but never had any strong desire to visit (even with Southwest Airlines offering $400 R/T fares a few years ago).
– A Cruise Ship — I’ve never been on a cruise ship. Nothing against them, just haven’t had the opportunity or the timing was always off.
– Rural Nevada (anyplace other than Las Vegas and Reno) — I’ve driven back and forth between Las Vegas and Reno 12-15 times. However, I’ve never been anyplace else in the state except for those highways — which is kinda’ embarrassing since this has been my home state for 20+ years. I really do want to visit other parts of Nevada.
Of course, the key is — people who know you would be surprised you’ve never been to the place and so now, it’s your turn. List 1, 2, 3, or more places that most people would think you’ve been to, but haven’t visited yet.
This is the TWO-HUNDRED AND SEVENTEENTH edition of A.U.C. Thanks to everyone for participating!

One of the coolest tours I’ve ever taken I had to be dragged to, pretty much, by my daughter, about 4 yrs ago. And the only tour I’ve ever taken that required a background check. Oh yeah, and the only tour that had an armed guard board the bus at the entrance of the location. It’s free, and it takes about a year to get assigned a date, so sign up, and forget about it. One day you’ll get an email with the date assigned for your tour a few months out. It was incredible, and the tour guides we had told amazing stories about the place, each of them having worked there for some decades. It is the Nevada National Security Site and here is the link.

An incredible piece of Nevada and our country’s history.
Enjoy, my friend.

-Pittsburgh (for Lidia Bastianich’s restaurant!), even though I’m from Jersey.
– Houston, Ottawa, Portland OR
I’ve been to every other sizable US city I can think of.
Montreal’s old city is great, but don’t go in winter BRRRRR! Toronto is a bigger and better city, but without the old world cachet.
We never cruised until 2016; since then we’ve taken 3 or 4 a year, at least one a year trans-Atlantic. They’re a great way to relax and meet a wide variety of people from all over the world. Plus on the trans cruises, you get to Europe without jet lag, ready to go. And repositioning cruises are very affordable. Panama Canal is also a great trip.
Two cruises done so far this year. Leaving in May for 25 days: Miami to several Caribbean islands, Funchal, Casablanca, Barcelona, Marseille, Genoa, Sicily, Malta, Rome.
