Fleming’s Steakhouse Grand Opening
One of our favorite restaurants has opened its second Las Vegas location. Tonight was the grand opening.
Fleming’s Steakhouse, of Summerlin fame, opened up location number two on the south end of the Las Vegas Strip, in Town Square.
We were among the first diners to arrive this evening and were the first to pay, which I suppose officially makes us Customer Number 1.
Tonight, we enjoyed a filet mignon and swordfish (topped with cherry tomatoes and served over couscous), along with two salads (Fleming’s house and a blue cheese iceberg wedge), garlic mashed potatoes with peppercorn, and some tasty blood orange margaritas. Fleming’s also makes the best carrot cake in the world, with fresh-whipped Chantilly creme, which is to die for. We split the dessert and then waddled out to the car.
A marvelous evening, a great restaurant, impeccable service from Jessica, and the manager even stopped by to chat.
Also, easy to get in and out of, from 215 and/or The Strip. Easy parking, and valet available.
With everything, the bill came to $185.
Congratulations and good luck to Fleming’s on the success of restaurant number 2, from customers number 1!

Absolutely no offense intended, Nolan, but you seem to resemble George Washington with dark glasses in that photo. The hair growing slightly outward above your sideburns and the white cloth napkin hanging from your collar really gives an 18th century magistrate appearance.
I was thinking the exact same thing, but was going to be polite and not say anything. But, that cat’s out of that bag so……..
So Nolan, is the a “To die for” place to go? It sounds like it!
