I’m going through piles of boxes in my garage and have hundreds of old news stories and photos that I’ve collected over the years. I’ll be sharing some of these in the days and weeks to come because I think many people may enjoy them.

What’s funny about this little gem from May 21, 1986 in the Metro section of the Las Vegas Sun is a big story about the World Series of Poker and the “record breaking year” that it was with a whopping 141 entries into the Main Event Championship!

But far more interesting is the news story on Page 2 about Tony “the Ant” Spilotro’s murder trial. Tony, some free advice–you may want to skip that upcoming invitation to the cornfield.
