“Lancey Howard” Spotted at Mimi’s Cafe in Las Vegas

Many of us likely remember the actor Edward G. Robinson from his legendary role as Lancey Howard, a.k.a. “The Man,” in the excellent 1966 poker movie, The Cincinnati Kid.  It was arguably the most notable performance by anyone playing a professional poker player — ever.

Edward G. Robinson (born Emanuel Goldberg in Bucharest, Romania) was known mostly for playing villains in a number of memorable films, including Key Largo, The Ten Commandments, Double Indemnity, Little Caesar, and many others.  He allegedly passed away in 1973.

But apparently — he’s still alive!

Who could have guessed that Edward G. Robinson is wandering among us, dining recently at a local Mimi’s restaurant here in Las Vegas?

What do you think?
