I don’t post much about baseball. The main reason for my disinterest is, I don’t like baseball. But, I do bet on it — sometimes heavily. I’ve probably bet more baseball games than any other sport (mostly because there are more of them).

The Norfolk Southern railroad company is paying $6.5 million (that’s “million” with an M) to derailment victims.

Meanwhile, the company is shelling out $7.5 billion (that’s “billion” with a B) for shareholders!

Rio Renovation? I Call — B.S.

The owners of the Rio just announced plans to renovate a disco-era property that should have been imploded a decade ago.

I’m not buying it. I’m not buying the poorly-researched Las Vegas Review-Journal article on this “breaking news,” and I’m certainly not buying the shithole known as the Rio.
