Biden’s Gaffe in Warsaw Speech Was Dumb

 

 

Things were going about as well as we could have hoped in the Ukraine-Russia war, particularly from an American foreign policy standpoint.

Without committing American/NATO forces on the ground or enforcing a dangerous no-fly zone, U.S. involvement in the conflict appeared to strike the perfect balance. Ukraine was not only defending the homeland valiantly, many reports indicated the situation could be deteriorating badly for the Russians. In other words, Ukraine might ultimately pull this thing out, survive, and become stronger than ever. Let’s hope.

Why Are Trumpsters So Quiet About Russia?

 

 

 

I noticed something recently that’s puzzling. Perhaps readers can offer some explanations.

It’s been three weeks now since Russia invaded Ukraine. The devastation has been brutal. Thousands have died. Hospitals have been targeted. Women and children have been attacked. And millions of refugees have flooded into Europe and elsewhere.

Facts: War crimes are being committed. Crimes against humanity are happening. Right now at this very second, incalculable suffering is happening.

Let’s be very clear, here — this is Putin’s War. The blood is on Putin’s hands.

Yet, on Facebook and elsewhere on social media I’ve noticed a DEAFENING SILENCE. That’s the only way to describe it.
