The Kick of the Century
“Everyone does it.”
“All politicians are corrupt.”
“Everybody lies.”

I wrote this up in about 20 minutes.Ā I think it’s pretty good.Ā What else would you add to the list?
The 10 Things I Like to Do:
Iād rather eat bratwurst and drink a beer in a mountain chalet at a ski resort with good friends, rather than dine at any āworld-classā restaurant with a celebrity chef.
Iād rather read a good book, than go to a party.
Iād rather drive a reliable and comfortable car, than show off a car that brags about how much money I have.
Iād rather listen to music from the human heart and soul and real instruments, even with the mistakes, than any āperfectā sounds created by Autotune or electronic drum machines or anything else made by a computer program.
Iād rather try and then make some mistakes, than not try at all and make no mistakes.
Iād rather enjoy what I do for a living and look forward to going to work, rather than suffering through a lifetime of dread and being surrounded by people I donāt like and/or who donāt like me.
Iād rather stand up for whatās right and lose some friends and followers and even family members, rather than pretend political and social issues arenāt important.
Iād rather push some boundaries and occasionally do something out of character, rather than to always play it safe and wonder what itās like to do something a little wild and crazy.
I’d rather have memories than possessions.
Iād rather be corrected and learn why I was wrong about something, rather than to go through my life isolated and ignorant.
Finally, I’d rather ask “why not” than “why?”
