It’s Official: Call Them “Trumplicans”
IT’S OFFICIAL: CALL THEM “TRUMPLICANS”
I’ve got a vault of opinions and analysis on the Trump convictions, which will be shared with readers in the coming days.
Let me begin with this:
Fact: The Republican Party is a Trump cult. The new name should be TRUMPLICANS.
There’s no place for non-Trump worshippers. It’s packed with gutless ass kissers on every level, who have completely abandoned America’s rule of law over their mass fellatio of a convicted felon. ANY Republican who speaks out in ANY way against the “Dear Leader” faces savage attack from Trump sycophants and political ruin.
EXHIBIT A: GOV. LARRY HOGAN (Former Maryland Governor now running for a U.S. Senate seat as a Republican). He’s in the photo above.
Note that I will *not* vote for ANY Republican on ANY level in any race. However, a tiny few Republicans continue to merit my respect. One of the few is Gov. Larry Hogan, who stands for many conservative principles, but also recognizes the danger of another Trump presidency. I disagree with Hogan on almost every policy issue, but still he impresses me as an honest, decent, and brave man — something very rare in Republican politics today.
After Trump’s conviction was announced, Larry Hogan wrote and posted this:
“At this dangerously divided moment in our history, all leaders—regardless of party—must not pour fuel on the fire with more toxic partisanship,” Hogan said. “We must reaffirm what has made this nation great: the rule of law.”
That’s it. Nothing else. Sounds reasonable, doesn’t it?
To me, to anyone who understands Constitutional principles, this is a responsible statement from a public official, and an admirable example of leadership from a U.S. Senate candidate.
So, here’s what the head of the REPUBLICAN NATIONAL COMMITTEE posted–just an hour later:
“You just ended your campaign.”
Read those two posts again. They’re available and unmistakable. (LINK HERE) Larry Hogan acts like a leader, asks for calm, and says he supports the rule of law. Then, the Trumper-plucked MAGA fanatic spews that Hogan just ended his own campaign, which basically means the penalty for standing with law and order and defending the legal process is excommunication from the cult. What message does this send? For a mass political movement that prides itself on so-called individual “freedom,” and constantly whines about restricted political speech, they sure are a cluster of servile cucks.
The Republican Party is in a terribly frightening place, right now. There’s nothing about this blindly-obedient cabal that’s free and open to new ideas, promotes open debate, or even allows dissenting views. Speak out in any way for the rule of law or make a public comment that might be construed as anti-Trump, and that’s become a Republican political obituary.
How Gov. Larry Hogan is treated might seem like a small thing. But it’s everything in today’s Trumplican Party.
More to come….

I am so tired of these screwballs. It is 100% a cult. I had an interaction with a friend of a colleague on Facebook (sorry, I just couldn’t help it). There was some nonsense post of how the country is going down the drain, we are a third world banana republic, etc…. The usual drivel. So, I asked the question: “so it’s cool to elect a convicted felon?”
Well, you can imagine the response: Trump is a “political prisoner”. At this point, I pointed out a few things:
1. He was found guilty in a court of law by 12 of his peers. Jurors that were vetted for weeks by both sides.
2. The judge, Biden and Cookie Monster did not find him guilty. The jury did.
3. He has the right to an appeal.
This is not the protocol of a dictatorship. That comment is an insult to political prisoners. Go spend time in a North Korean prison camp if you are confused.
A whole segment of our population is certifiable.
Thanks for sharing Nolan. Was not aware and would have missed it.
Slight comfort knowing that a few in the R. party are yet still decent people.
Enjoyed watching the news last nite. Pleasantly surprised that verdict was guilty on all counts but grateful that the system worked Again, more slight comfort.
Was surprised that T raided such a huge amount of money later that evening. Can’t understand what people are thinking throwing good money after bad.
Appreciate all you do Nolan.
Thanks again.
Chris Faith ….. good thoughts as well
