A MAGA maniac who shot his own eye out got arrested in the Trump Coup plot. He is charged with 17-counts of “seditious conspiracy.”
Good. Lock his ass up.
Trumpster comic book supervillain Elmer Stewart Rhodes, the founder of a goofy but dangerous far-right militia group, was arrested by authorities this week. Based on overwhelming evidence — mostly his own hate-filled rhetoric and active role planning the violent overthrow of the government (“the start of a civil war,” he claimed repeatedly) — Rhodes very is likely to face his worst possible nightmare. That could mean spending several years locked up inside a federal penitentiary. The charges carry a possible 20-year-sentence.
Sweet justice, indeed.

Fronting a domestic terrorist group known as the “Oath Keepers,” the fast-food addicted gun nut has been highly influential within crazed far-Right media circles for several years. Somehow, we don’t think the founding fathers were referring to the Oath Keepers when they called for “a well-regulated militia.” Rhodes has been heard babbling about his own twisted interpretations of the U.S. Constitution (shared by no one, other than pro-Trump lunatics), the mirage of a stolen election in 2020 (all federal courts and even Republican Secretary’s of State unanimously disagree), and worst of all….the price increase of a Whataburger. Now that really fries his buns.
The Trump-humping extremist was so reckless about gun safety and careless with his own firearms that he shot his own eye out in an imbecilic “gun accident” nearly three decades ago. The portrait of every psychopathic militia member in America is pretty much the spit-image of Elmer Stewart Rhodes, a pathetic blob of a man who wastes most weekends playing GI Joe in mountain camp when he’s not working on his rusted-out 1973 Dodge Charger parked in the garage for the past 20 years, all while panting to Mark Levin’s voice blaring on AM radio. Aside from some appearances on fellow-crank Alex Jones’ dubious InfoWars show, that’s pretty much the entire earthly existence of this dental-challenged dimwit.
Now estranged from his wife (yeah, he was married — can you believe it? — read more HERE), it appears Cyclops will have to rely on the blind generosity of his maniacal followers to mount his legal defense. His own hero Donald Trump, who has raised an estimated hundred-million dollars since his got crushed in a landslide election loss 16 months ago and claims to be worth $5 billion, hasn’t pledged one dime of support to his loyal foot-soldier follower.

Seriously, had there ever been a more deranged poster boy for America’s far-Right bat-shittery than the ass clown who:
(1) fiddles with guns,
(2) blasts his own eye out,
(3) spews ceaseless demagoguery,
(4) gets abandoned by his own family,
(5) provokes and then helps to stage a riot at the U.S. Capitol,
(6) and then gets arrested and charged with sedition?
This is glorious!
There’s no doubt, this guy is a fool. But as we have seen, many times, fools can be dangerous. Sadly and most frightening of all, there are millions just like him.
