Grading the Biden Presidency (Introduction / Part 1 of 11)

GRADING THE BIDEN PRESIDENCY
(AN INTRODUCTION)

President Joe Biden’s term is about to end. My overall opinion is — the 46th president deserves a *mixed grade* based on his achievements and failures while in office.

While it takes years for history to ultimately render a final verdict, what follows — in this first part of a longer series — are my initial grades (1-10, with 1 being the lowest score and 10 being the highest).

These grades are based the last four years (Jan. 2021-Jan. 2025) which takes into account the President’s impact on many issues. Note that each grade reflects the opinion of the full Biden Administration, not just the occupant of the Oval Office.

Topics to be graded in this series (which is posted here and on Facebook):

– The Economy
– Immigration / Border Issues
– Domestic Agenda
– Communications
– Environment
– Foreign Policy
– Criminal Justice / Legal
– Politics (Appointments / Elections / Intergovernmental Affairs)
– Moral Authority / Character / Leadership
– President Biden’s Final Grade

[Note: Get the fireworks and popcorn ready. I expect considerable disagreement in this series, from all sides. That’s fine. Feel free to post your own grades and provide reasons for your score.]

1/11
