Grading the Biden Presidency (Domestic Agenda)

GRADING THE BIDEN PRESIDENCY:
DOMESTIC AGENDA
The previous Trump Administration falsely promised to produce an “infrastructure bill” for four years and ended up with a record of broken promises, Desperately needed leadership never materialized, so let’s credit the Biden Administration for finally getting something done. And this “something” was/is big. And, it’s good for everyone.
America’s roads, bridges, ports, and transportation system had reached a crisis point of neglect. The once-in-a-generation bill known as the “Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act” is demonstrative of what the federal government should be doing all across America. This is a signature accomplishment.
Sadly, the cost of long-term public policy which usually extends into future presidencies, is often negative politically. It often takes years (and sometimes decades given the size and scope of some projects) for citizens to see and feel the effects of new roads, bridges, water systems, and renovated airports — one reason most politicians often delay tackling big issues like this and then passing them on from one administration to the next.
President Biden finally got things done, and he deserves massive credit for it. This might be his greatest accomplishment, since all of America will be seeing and experiencing the many benefits for decades to come.
Like with infrastructure, a number of similar bills, projects, laws, and initiatives were also introduced and passed and ultimately signed into law which justifies giving the Biden Presidency a high score.
