Wynn-Lose: Steve Wynn Flip-Flops Again on Online Gambling

Let’s make one thing clear.

Steve Wynn was in favor of online gambling long before he opposed it.  Big time.  As in so enthusiastically in favor of online gambling (and poker specifically) that he once signed up for a strategic business partnership with PokerStars.com.  You remember PokerStars, don’t you?  The world’s largest online poker site based over on the Isle of Man?

Here’s What Happens After Sheldon Adelson’s Arguments Get Body Slammed

Sheldon Adelson is one of the world’s richest people.  He’s the majority owner of the Las Vegas Sands Corporation, which owns and operates The Venetian.  He’s become online poker’s most outspoken opponent, launching what amounts to a smear campaign of lies and gross misrepresentations against online gaming, and poker players.  Adelson has even gone as far as to claim poker is not a game of skill.  “Just a bunch of baloney,” he says.

“We are going to make it the plague,” Says Sheldon Adelson’s Coffee Boy

Adelson’s pathetic flunky, Andy Abboud likely realizes he’s playing for a losing team.  Coach Adelson sent him into the ball game to take yet another snap, even though the game is over.  Online poker is here to stay, and will certainly gain a foothold in additional states as more and more people begin to realize that all the false hysteria created by Team Adelson was fabrication based on self-interest.
