What the fuck is happening these recent nights on the west side of Las Vegas? Is anyone else hearing all this noise pollution?
Every night during this past week around 10 pm it sounds like an eardrum-blasting contest on what asshat’s car has the loudest muffler. I’m not talking about the occasional junk car blowing exhaust noise. I’m talking about gaggles of customized (and expensive) cars with loud exhaust systems that are CLEARLY DESIGNED AND INTENDED to disturb the peace and scare the living daylights out of anyone within a few miles of the noise. They tear across public parking lots and race up and down West Side streets from Buffalo to Hualapai. What the fuck is going on here! Are they filming another sequel to Fast and Furious?
Here’s a thought: If I can hear your fucking car a quarter mile away, there’s not just something wrong with your vehicle — there’s something wrong with YOU!
Every night these incel tatted, testosterone-brimming eardrum-blasters burn rubber and crank engines and squeal up and down the streets like it’s the goddamned Daytona 250. It goes on for HOURS!
Umm, and now the real question ——— WHERE THE FUCK ARE THE POLICE?
I’ve seen social media platforms asking the same questions about this public menace. No one seems to know how these delinquents are staying ahead of law enforcement or even if the police are making any effort to stop this madness.
Is anyone else hearing this shit? Any reports of what’s going on or know if Metro is going to police this and do their fucking jobs?
The Las Vegas City Council needs to do something. Enforcement needs to be stepped up. PRONTO! Arrest these punks. Fine them heavily. Make them scrub the rubber burns off the pavement with a toothbrush. Seize their shitbox cars. This problem is apparently so bad that it’s now time to create a Task Force.

Since this was written, I’ve noticed cops, near Alta/Buffalo, have been pulling over these customized cars, and people on illegal bikes.

In 2021 I think, a bunch of these tuner geeks suddenly got together in the Chinatown Plaza parking lot. Somebody called Metro, and the whole parking lot was blocked in, and nobody could get away. I saw some driving through the parking lot trying to find a way out. Some fled on foot. Leaving their cars behind? Beats me. I watched this from across Spring Mountain at wherever I was eating. (Tofu Hut, I think.) All the cars were towed, and just about every driver that stayed received tickets the cops.
