Continuing with a new project which is posting short videos of some of my favorite local restaurants. Each video will run 1-3 minutes and provide of glimpse of the restaurant, and dishes I recommend.
Note this series is not oriented towards the Las Vegas Strip. Rather, it’s intended for locals and visitors who might enjoy more modestly-priced cuisine away from the inflated pricing and hassle of casino restaurants.
This week, I’ve posted my second three vlogs. The first series is HERE. To watch, click the tag on each link below:
Zaytoon’s Restaurant and Market is on Durango and Spring Mountain. It’s now in its 14th year. Zaytoon’s a family-owned and operated restaurant and international market is Mediterranean-themed, with Persian/Iranian fare. It’s excellent. Also read my review: The Best and Worst Mediterranean Restaurants in Las Vegas
Weera Thai is at Spring Mountain and Valley View, just a few miles away from the Strip. Wonderfully run, consistently good, affordable, and spotlessly clean, this is a solid “go-to” spot, especially for lunch. Also, read my review of Weera Thai.
Echo and Rigg has been written about here many times before (read more HERE). The restaurant’s unique menu is easily in the Top 10 of the funnest places to hang out and enjoy a wide variety of drinks and cuisine. It’s a steakhouse, but not really a traditional steakhouse. For instance, a vegetarian could find plenty of interesting menu choices.
