STATE OF THE DISUNION–ART OF THE LIE
No, I will NOT be watching. And, I suspect many of you too will skip the perfunctory annual perversion known as the “State of the Union” speech, which happens tonight.
Why bother with such mind-numbing agony fuckery? Why waste even a second of our time? Why subject ourselves to such torturous stupidity? One preposterous line after another whopper of madness. Over and over and over and over. Nothing joyous nor the least bit redeeming shall be shared. There’s nothing here tonight to be proud of. But there is a lot to be embarrassed about. What presidential revelation or pending federal policy initiatives will be proposed this evening? What “bold new vision” will be articulated?
For those of you who want to torture yourself to a man sucking his own cock in front of the world, enjoy!
Nothing of substance will be articulated, and even if he did share something that was a surprise, he’s very likely to back pedal or change mind or completely reverse himself the following day—-just as he’s done on countless other issues before over and over and over and over again. Whatever he says is about as reliable as a pile of steaming dog shit. But if you watch, surely Trump will take credit for a wacko fuck fantasy of lies. Best economy in American history-a lie. Ended eight wars-a lie. Made America great/respected again-a lie. He’s a pervert, and that’s not even counting his Epstein links.
Lies. Lies. Lies. All he does is LIE. All the time. Non-stop. Tonight will be no different. Look for the lies to hit overdrive, while his cult MAGA Republican sycophants clap and squeal like trained circus seals gulping down stale sardines. It’s downright pathetic. This isn’t a democracy. It’s a skull fucking oligarchy of evil.
No, he cannot be trusted — not about anything. Nothing he spews tonight is real, nor accurate. He’s lied so many times, on so many issues, there’s nothing honest nor humble nor decent about the bombastic clown who will further embarrass our nation and steamroll over everything that once made our nation exceptional.
He is not the BEST of us and who we are. He is the WORST of us —- on steroids. He reveals everything petty, dishonest, self-serving, and corrupt about humanity. He is an American horror.
Looking back, this is a sad night for me. I earned a college degree in political science. I chose that field of study because I was an optimist. I thought moral leadership and and good government could make a difference. Since 1974, I’ve watched almost every State of the Union address, even when I didn’t like nor agree with the President. This one night was worthy of giving our attention to the leader of our country, no matter who it was. The office once deserved RESPECT.
But RESPECT is a two-way street. Trump respects NOTHING. Certainly NOT the rule of law. Certainly NOT the Supreme Court. Certainly NOT the Congress. Certainly NOT the opposition party. Certainly NOT his own party. Certainly NOT other nations. Certainly NOT allies. Certainly NOT treaties he’s torched. Certainly NOT the media. Certainly NOT honesty and decency. Certainly NOT tradition. Certainly NOT a pluralistic society that is stronger for our differences not weaker because of them. Certainly NOT anything other than his own appalling self-grandiosity and tiresome obsession with himself at the expense of utterly everything else in life that truly matters.
The guy is the most boring fuck in my political lifetime. He doesn’t possess a shred of taste nor genuine curiosity about anything. An absolutely predictable, buffoonish, cartoonish….BORE.
That this horrible man is elected to anything is astoundingly disgusting. That he stands there tonight as the leader of our nation is the shame of our lifetimes, a disgusting spectacle not worth one moment of respect, nor one second of our collective attention.
