“Poker Night in America” television cameras will be on site to capture what goes on both at the tables and around the bustling South Florida scene. The final table of the $2 million guaranteed $3,500 buy-in No-Limit Hold’em Championship will be live streamed on Twitch and recorded for later broadcast in multiple one-hour episodes sometime during 2016. PNiA will also film three days of high-stakes cash game action, by invitation only, although seats will also be open to everyone via qualifying tournaments held at the Seminole Hard Rock. Moreover, “Ladies Night III,” one of the television program’s signature events is scheduled to take place at the venue where the first-ever ladies-only cash game debuted, one year ago. Live streaming and filming takes place Nov. 29 through Dec. 2.
“Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino is very excited to have ‘Poker Night in America’ back for the 2015 Rock ‘n’ Roll Poker Open and to have our $2 million guaranteed championship final table televised for ‘Poker Night: The Tour’ show,” said Jason Newman, director of poker marketing for Seminole Gaming. “We’re also looking forward to the anticipated encore of ‘Ladies Night’ – last year’s was a huge hit and tons of fun both for the players and the audience.”
Action takes place inside the Paradise Live Theater, which will be set up specifically to host four consecutive days (and nights) of poker playing. The cash game lineup promises to include a mix of professionals and amateurs, celebrities and unknowns, who will each have the opportunity to shine and perhaps win lots of money on national television.
The Rock n’ Roll Poker Championship Event is scheduled November 27 through December 2. Players receive a 30,000 starting stack and two starting flights to choose from, with Friday, Nov. 27 being the first day. Players may play in both if they are eliminated. Unlimited re-entries will be allowed until the start of level 7 for each fight. The championship concludes with the final table played out on Dec. 2, which will be shown on PNiA’s sister program debuting next year called, “Poker Night: The Tour.” This new series primarily with tournament coverage will accompany the usual PNiA half-hour broadcasts, which largely focuses on cash games and other interesting sidebar stories.

Seminole Hard Rock previously hosted PNiA stops late in 2014 and also during the summer of 2015. Both of those successful events drew some of the biggest names in poker. The 2014 event was highlighted by “Ladies Night I,” which was the first ever ladies-only high-stakes cash game filmed for television. That series drew some of the highest ratings of PNiA in its 18 months of existence. Earlier this year, PNiA and the Seminole Hard Rock tried another first, which was playing out four final tables at the same time with more than 10 million in prize money at stake.
No doubt, the active partnership between PNiA and the Seminole Hard Rock Casino is certain to push new boundaries of what’s expected and become “must see TV” for every poker fan.
