On this so-called “Religious Freedom Day” let’s play a new game called *Guess the Ayatollah*
– Which Ayatollah is backed by hardline conservative religious fanatics?
– Which one hints at staying on the job for life?
– Which one sends heavily-armed, poorly-trained military forces into the streets to attack and arrest protesters?
– Which one imprisons its own citizens just for speaking out against the regime?
– Which one seeks to control all media and calls any questioning or criticism “fake news?”
– Which one has stripped women from the right to control their own bodies and make their own reproductive decisions?
– Which one constantly rattles his saber at the rest of the world threatening to attack multiple countries and cause chaos?
– Which one surrounds himself with obedient sycophants where any questioning of “the word” is deemed blasphemous?
– Which one has defanged all checks and balances on his absolute power in the weakened legislatures and courts?
– Which one displays fawning portraits and flags of himself on buildings and at propaganda rallies all over the country, and has his cult followers worshiping everything he endorses?
Note: A spokesman for the Iranian Ayatollah wishes to point out that he bristles at the comparison, since he never bankrupted six casinos, nor banged and then bribed any porn stars, and isn’t in the Epstein Files.
