Though I have no regard for religion or the Catholic Church today, I don’t run away from my part connections and memories. On this trip, I returned to the first school I attended in Dallas.
Back visiting today many years later at Holy Trinity Catholic School, in the Oak Lawn area. This school is connected to history. The priest from our school at Holy Trinity delivered last rites for JFK at Parkland Hospital, which happened about 9 years before I was a student. His name was Father Oscar Huber.
Pretty cool that just as I was snapping the bottom photograph (click to enlarge), a wedding was coming out. Much happiness to that beautiful couple.
