Verona, NY (July 30, 2015) – Turning Stone Report Casino will host the next several episodes of the popular television show, Poker Night in America.  Filming dates for the series of high-stakes cash games will take place August 8-10, 2015.

Among those playing will be Joe McKeehen, who is arguably the most talked-about player in the game right now.  McKeehen, who started out playing poker at Turning Stone several years ago and gradually developed his poker skills, heads into the famed “November Nine” (the official final table of the World Series of Poker Main Event) holding an overwhelming chip lead over the competition.  This will be McKeehen’s first live-action appearance since the annual summer series in Las Vegas.  Other players who will appear at Turning Stone include Shaun Deeb, Matt Glantz, Rep Porter, and David “ODB” Baker.

Turning Stone Resort Casino is a world-class destination resort that continues to distinguish itself as a premier destination for poker.  This marks the third consecutive year the 3,400 acre resort located in upstate New York will host a special group of poker players (by-invitation-only) who will appear on camera for multiple 30-minute shows which will be recorded on site and broadcast on CBS Sports, later this year.  Previous stops at Turning Stone recorded in 2013 and 2014 produced some of the best poker on television in recent memory, with highlights ranging from the widely-publicized slow roll between Shaun Deeb and Mike “the Mouth” Matusow to a highly-entertaining poker in film retrospective with Jennifer Tilly, Phil Laak, and noted move critic Richard Roeper.

“We’re excited to be hosting Poker Night in America for the third year and we’re looking forward to Joe McKeehan returning to Turning Stone,” said Frank Foti, Director of Poker at Turning Stone Resort Casino.  “We’re always looking for new ways to showcase Turning Stone Resort, and events like this give us the unique opportunity to introduce poker players and poker enthusiasts to our world-class poker room.”

This year’s activities will include two days of No-Limit Hold’em cash games, with $25-50 blinds, and a buy-in of $5,000 (min.) to $20,000 (max.).  In addition, the championship table for the Empire State Poker Classic with a $1,100 buy-in will be recorded and live streamed online.  This segment of the filming will constitute a new television series, known as Poker Night:  The Tour.  More information about this new televised tournament series will be announced soon.
