The American Gaming Association (AGA) is a gutless disgrace.

Here’s why.

 

The American Gaming Association (AGA), a Washington-based trade group and lobbying organization supposedly created to advance the interests of the casino industry, has suddenly reversed themselves.

Yesterday, the AGA decided to withdraw its support for legalized and regulated online gambling and poker in the United States.  This bizarre decision comes following a persistent if an unproductive period of supporting legislation supported by the majority of its members.

Let’s see….at first they were against online gambling.

Then, they were for it.  Strongly.

Now, they’re against it again.

Or, maybe they’re neutral.

Who knows?  Chow!  Chow!  Chow!

Given that their credibility from this point forward is just about shot all to hell, maybe it’s time for the AGA to fold up its tent.  Is there any reason to take them seriously anymore?  Whatever they say today might be the reverse of what they spew tomorrow.
